Prof. Dr. Mohamed Elbarbary is one of Egypt’s most distinguished pediatric surgeons, with over 30 years of clinical experience at Cairo University — one of the largest and most respected academic medical centres in Africa and the Middle East. As Chairman of the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Cairo University (Kasr Al Ainy), he leads a team specialising in complex congenital conditions, minimally invasive neonatal surgery, and advanced reconstructive procedures. His work has been published in leading international journals and cited over 670 times by researchers worldwide.
